On April 1 at 9:25 p.m., Trooper First Class Oles responded to the 300 block of Red Cloud Rd. in Lusby for a reported disorderly person.
Earlier in the evening on a previous call, Otis R. Savoy, 48 of West River, MD, had been intoxicated and was escorted from the residence to the Lusby Fastop. Savoy returned to the residence and was ordered to leave. He refused and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order.
While transporting Savoy to the MSP Barrack in Prince Frederick, he caused damage to the inside of the police vehicle. Once outside the vehicle, he kicked the vehicle causing additional damage to the outside of the vehicle.
He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center and additionally charged with destruction of property.
