at Higdon Elementary  helps Thomas
Edison demonstrate the telegraph .

Thomas Edison came to the Dr. Thomas L. Higdon Elementary School in Newburg in early September to teach students all about the Menlo Park Lab, his invention factory; his life; the telegraph; and Morse code. 

Students were able to help Mr. Edison during his demonstrations.

Edison’s performance  was hosted by the Higdon’s Parent-Teacher Association and featured actors from Mobile Ed. Productions, a company that presents educational workshops nationwide.
