Solomons Island, MD- A scorching Friday afternoon gave way to downpours across the Southern Maryland Region Friday night; just in time for the gates to open at the Calvert Marine Museum. A sold out crowd of over 7000 were told to get back to their vehicles before the storms rolled in. After about an hour, the word went out that the gates would be re-opening at 7:45 p.m.
As the fans lined the streets to get in, Cadillac 3 opened up the concert. A little while later, the headliner; Thomas Rhett, made his way onstage to a boisterous crowd of several thousand screaming fans.As the lights went out the crowd stood and cheered. Rhett came on stage. The fans were treated to cooler weather and a concert they won’t soon forget.
