Around 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 17, units from Hollywood and Lexington Park were dispatched to the intersection of Clarkes Landing Road and Mervell Dean Road for the motor vehicle accident with one vehicle overturned.
Units arrived on the scene to report a three car accident with one van on its side, smoke coming from the rear and partially on top of another vehicle. All patients were able to get of the vehicles with minor injuries and no fire. Additional crews arrived on the scene to secure the vehicles and removed hazards.
Two patients were transported with non-life threatening injuries to St Mary’s Hospital.
No word on the cause of the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
