On Sunday Solomons will light up with excitement when the most famous “Redneck Woman,” Gretchen Wilson, performs at the Calvert Marine Museum.
Presented by n Sunday, September 23, Ralph’s Dodge-Jeep and Cumberland & Erly, the show is part of the museum’s annual benefit concert series. Gates open at 6 p.m and showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
Best known for hits such as Redneck Woman, All Jacked Up, and One of the Boys, Gretchen Wilson was the 2004 CMA Horizon Award recipient, the 2005 ACM Best New Artist and Top Female Vocalist, and the 2005 Grammy recipient for Best Country Female Vocal Performance for her hit song Redneck Woman. Gretchen’s most recent album, “One of the Boys” hit the top of Billboard’s country chart for four weeks.
Tickets are $50 for premium seats and $40 for reserved seats; service charges are additional. This is an outdoor, rain or shine concert; there are no refunds or exchanges. Food and drinks will be available, and coolers are not allowed.
