At 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24, Trooper Koock was patrolling Rt. 235 in California, and she assisted Lt. Cedar with a routine traffic stop in the area of First Colony Blvd.
Tpr. Koock and Lt Cedar made contact with the driver, Mary Lee Little, 42 of Lexington Park and she appeared to be under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Little exited the vehicle to perform field sobriety tests. A check through MVA revealed her license was suspended and the registration plates on her vehicle were also suspended. She was arrested for driving under the influence and driving while suspended.
A search incident to arrest revealed 2 prescription bottles containing Percocet and Ativan.
Little was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for a bond review.
