PALM BEACH, Fla. — On August 8, former President Donald Trump issued a statement saying that his Florida home had been raided “by a large group of FBI agents.”

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.
Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.
After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.
It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.
Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries.
Sadly, American has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before.
They even broke into my safe!
What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.”

As long as the search warrant was properly filed and properly executed, Trump will have no grounds upon which to sue. It is amazing how all you Trumpers proclaim to stand behind the rule of law…unless anyone attempts to apply the law to Donald Trump.

So here we have another thing you don’t understand? It is the job of the FBI and DOJ to protect the security of this country and its citizens. It is their responsibility to follow up on leads regarding individuals who are suspected of endangering the country and its citizens. That is what we pay them to do. That doesn’t mean that an executed search warrant HAS to result in the finding of evidence. And besides all that your first comment was about “that man” suing. When, of course, he would have no grounds upon which to sue the federal government.

You want to try posting in English? How does someone “commenting a crime”? I’ve never heard of the FBI executing a “warranty”. You have no basis to sue if the warranty was properly executed, no one was roughed up and nothing was broken. Which is what appears to be the case here. The FBI knocked on the door, was let in, did their search, confiscated materials and left. Whether they find anything or not is irrelevant as long as the search warrant was properly obtained.

So it appears Trump was asked to produce the documents back in the Spring. He was even given a subpoena. Naturally, he ignored these because he believes he is above the law. It is also being reported that the FBI was searching for documents related to our nuclear deterrent. So, a search warrant was executed. Trump was given the warrant. He could have released it, but he hasn’t. Trump was also likely given a receipt for the items that were taken. He could have released this as well. At every step along the way Trump had the ability to cooperate, avoid a search warrant or produce evidence that he was being mistreated. He did nothing an upstanding citizen would and should have done.
