PALM BEACH, Fla. — On August 8, former President Donald Trump issued a statement saying that his Florida home had been raided “by a large group of FBI agents.”

Read the full statement below:

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.

Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.

After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.

It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.

Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries.

Sadly, American has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before.

They even broke into my safe!

What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.”

  1. Hahahahaha! And now he and MTG are calling to defund the FBI. So much for ‘backing the blue’. He’s gonna be in a jumpsuit that matches his skin.

  2. “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”
Well, this proves that the left is after him again with no evidence, as usual. You’d think they’d learn from their last 2 failures.
Just wait ladies, he will retaliate, so you little ignorant girly snowflakes sit tight until he wins again in 2024.

        1. Trump is the only president in the history of this country who was impeached twice. His own people have been on national TV all summer proclaiming what an incompetent, lying, anti-American, POS he is. His statement is just more of the same.

          1. Never said he wasn’t impeached twice

However I did say that they failed to remove him twice

  3. What the difference between this and Watergate? Richard Nixon resigned. Donald Trump led an attempted coup. Donald Trump made Richard Nixon look like a prime example of American exceptionalism: a shining beacon of democracy in action and a stand up guy for taking personal responsibility for his own actions.

  4. And what happens if they don’t find anything? That man will file the biggest lawsuit in American history

They better hope they find something for tax payers sake lol

    1. As long as the search warrant was properly filed and properly executed, Trump will have no grounds upon which to sue. It is amazing how all you Trumpers proclaim to stand behind the rule of law…unless anyone attempts to apply the law to Donald Trump.

          1. Obviously I’m not if you would have read my comment, you can take your opinion and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine

  5. Anonymous says: “August 9, 2022 at 9:45 pm Never said he wasn’t impeached twice However I did say that they failed to remove him twice” So the American people did what needed to be done because the Republican members of the House and Senate continue to put party before country.

  6. Why did trump plead the 5th when he has said numerous times that anyone who pleads the 5th is guilty as hell? Also, why won’t he release the warrant?

  7. Hoping it’s Barry trump who flipped on him but it’s most likely Mark Meadows. Perry’s phone wast returned to him so there’s got to be some spicy meatballs on there.

  8. “Anonymous says: August 10, 2022 at 5:18 pm Obviously I’m not if you would have read my comment, you can take your opinion and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine” Um…I did read your comment. Anyone who would make such a ridiculous post in support of Trump is clearly a Trumper.

    1. And if you would have read it you would have read the part where I said for tax payers sake I hope they find something

      1. So here we have another thing you don’t understand? It is the job of the FBI and DOJ to protect the security of this country and its citizens. It is their responsibility to follow up on leads regarding individuals who are suspected of endangering the country and its citizens. That is what we pay them to do. That doesn’t mean that an executed search warrant HAS to result in the finding of evidence. And besides all that your first comment was about “that man” suing. When, of course, he would have no grounds upon which to sue the federal government.

        1. And if they don’t find anything he can sue
It’s no different then someone commenting a crime that you have nothing to do with, fbi executes a warranty on your home and finds no evidence, what are you gonna do? You sue

I must say you are a complete tool

          1. You want to try posting in English? How does someone “commenting a crime”? I’ve never heard of the FBI executing a “warranty”. You have no basis to sue if the warranty was properly executed, no one was roughed up and nothing was broken. Which is what appears to be the case here. The FBI knocked on the door, was let in, did their search, confiscated materials and left. Whether they find anything or not is irrelevant as long as the search warrant was properly obtained.

  9. Garland just called Donald’s bluff. If Donald won’t release the warrant, DOJ will. They’ve filed a motion as only a judge can unseal the warrant.

  10. So it appears Trump was asked to produce the documents back in the Spring. He was even given a subpoena. Naturally, he ignored these because he believes he is above the law. It is also being reported that the FBI was searching for documents related to our nuclear deterrent. So, a search warrant was executed. Trump was given the warrant. He could have released it, but he hasn’t. Trump was also likely given a receipt for the items that were taken. He could have released this as well. At every step along the way Trump had the ability to cooperate, avoid a search warrant or produce evidence that he was being mistreated. He did nothing an upstanding citizen would and should have done.
