On May 3 at 4:46 p.m. a lookout was broadcast for a vehicle whose driver had pumped $26 worth of gasoline at the Fastop in Solomons and failed to pay.
It was discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen from Prince Georgeโs County.
The vehicle was spotted in the area of St. Leonard Road and Parran Road and then observed turning onto a private drive on Md. Rt. 4 in St. Leonard.
Calvert County Sheriffโs Dep. Robert Traas made contact with the driver, later identified as Jason A. Ransome, 27 of Upper Marlboro.ย The lone passenger in the vehicle was identified as Tywania N. Ross, 21 of Laurel.
Ransome and Ross were both arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and Ransome was additionally charged with theft of gas from the Fastop.
