On the morning of July 7, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 6000 block of Thoroughbred Court in Waldorf for the report of a citizen armed robbery.
Investigation revealed that the victim was walking to her car when the suspect approached, displayed a gun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled.
At 7 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Wolverine Place in Waldorf for the report of a citizen armed robbery. The victim said she was putting her purse in her car when the suspect approached, displayed a gun and demanded her purse. The victim screamed and the suspect fled toward a wooded area. He did not obtain any money.
Both victims described the suspect as a black male who was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana. He was armed with a gun.
