Two people were flown from a T-bone crash on Loveville Road, near the intersection of Bishop Road, at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.
First-arriving police said the crash appeared serious and an unresponsive elderly female was in one vehicle. A full-sized Chevy truck and smaller SUV were involved.
After a paramedic unit arrived, they determined the woman’s injured to be not life-threatening, but a helicopter would continue to the scene due to her age and loss of consciousness.
Responding volunteer firefighters had to pry open the driver’s door of the second vehicle.
A second patient was also reportedly flown.
