The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reports two girls, aged 15 and 11, were charged with assault for beating on an 11-year-old boy.
The two girls kicked and punched the boy while he was standing on Shore Acres Way in Prince Frederick, at 7:30 p.m. April 9, police say.
The girls, both from Prince Frederick, were each charged with second degree assault on a youth report and released to a parent.
The juvenile girls told police they thought it was all in fun and didn’t realize the victim would report it to the police.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
