ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Two men were arrested early Wednesday after Anne Arundel County police say officers interrupted an attempted theft at a Sheehy Infiniti dealership in Annapolis.
Police were called to the 100 block of Ferguson Road around 4:05 a.m., Dec. 9, for a report of individuals tampering with vehicles and removing tires on the lot. As officers arrived, the two suspects ran into nearby woods, prompting a search involving additional patrol units and a drone team. The drone located both men hiding, and officers took them into custody without further incident.
Authorities identified the suspects as Domonick Malikye Murphy, 23, of Baltimore, and Devon Vincent Harris, 23, of Washington, D.C.
Murphy is charged with rogue and vagabond and trespassing on private property. Court records show he is being held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled for a bail review on Dec. 11 in Glen Burnie, with a trial set for Jan. 9.
Harris faces the same misdemeanor charges. He was released on his own recognizance and is slated for a court date on Feb. 19 in Glen Burnie.
No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
