At 7:17 a.m. on August 24 rescue crews were alerted for the personal injury accident at the intersection of Asher Road and Kelli Court in Country Lakes of Mechanicsville. Charles County Paramedic Ambulance 28 from Hughesville VFD Co. 2 along with Squad 2 with the Fire Chief from Mechanicsville VFD Co. 2 responded followed shortly behind by Ambulance 597 from Seventh District VRS. Crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles that were involved with patients out of the vehicles. Crews worked to asses the patients and provide proper care of the three patients that were transported. Crews operated on the scene for 29 minutes.
