Lexington Park, MD— On Oct. 25, St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to Liberty Street in Lexington Park, MD for the report of a theft. When officers arrived on the scene Ashley Nicole Tippett, age 23, of no fixed address and Tami Marie Tompkins, age 40 of Lexington Park had stolen personal items from several victims.
According to court documents “the victims advised several items of clothing,beauty products,and jewelry were stolen. The victim also reported her asthma medication was stolen.”
Both Tompkins and Tippett were charged and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
According to court documents ” an additional victim reported three prescriptions missing, Xanax,Lyrica, and Oxycodone.”
“The co-defendants were found to be in possession of several of the items reported stolen which were recovered and returned to the victims. There are several items that are still missing,” according to court documents.
Both Tompkins and Tippet face a possible maximum jail sentences of 32 years and 5 months, and a maximum fine of $32,000.
