UPDATE: Monday, May 11
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday, May 11 that the body of a man missing since May 1 was discovered Sunday, May 10 in an area within the Chesapeake Ranch Estates subdivision of Lusby.
Neale Scott Ebersole, 48 was last seen by his sister May 1 on San Gabriel Road in Lusby.
Captain Todd Ireland of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office told The Bay Net Ebersole’s death appears to be a suicide.

On May 3 at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding a missing person.
The initial investigation revealed 48 year old Neal Scott Ebersole was last seen May 1 by his sister Carolyn Jean Johnson at 651 San Gabriel Road Lusby.
He was last seen walking from the residence for a walk. He was last seen wearing black leather jacket, blue jeans white shirt and black steel toe shoes.
Ebersole also failed to report to work at Giant in Lusby, MD for his shift May 2. There has been no contact with family and friends since May 1.
