Wednesday night, Nov. 5 – Washington, DC area news services are reporting a Pennsylvania woman who was abducted in Philadelphia over the weekend was found alive this evening in Jessup, MD. Police reported that the victim, Carlesha Freeland Gaither, 22 had sustained several minor injuries. A suspect in the crime, which was caught on surveillance camera, is reportedly in custody.
Family members reported Gaither recently moved to Pennsylvania from Maryland.

In response to the volume of requests for information related to the abduction of Carlesha Briana Gaither which occurred on Sunday, November 2nd in Philadelphia, PA., the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics division has assumed a support role and will continue to do so as requested.
