Updated press release from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office:
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Offic Deputy Lawrence responded to the area of Church Drive in Great Mills on Monday, July 7 at 7:51 p.m., for a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist.
The bicyclist, a 8 year old male sustained minor injuries and was flown to Children’s Hospital for precautionary measures. Preliminary investigation indicates the bicyclist entered the path of the Toyota Camry; however the driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving without a license.
He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged accordingly.
