On Friday, July 17, members of St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations along with Tpr. Pitcher from the Leonardtown Barrack gathered additional information on the daytime burglaries that took place from May 27, through July.
Two additional suspects, Thomas Andrew Tolson age 22, of Mechanicsville and Brian Robert Flynn II age 22, of Mechanicsville were identified. They were charged with 1st degree burglary and theft under $500.00.
They were incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
On July 14, at 8:53 p.m., Tpr. J. C. Hardesty responded to the 27000 block of North Sandgates Road in Mechanicsville for the reported burglary and theft under $100.
Once on the scene, contact was made with the female complainant, 32 of Mechanicsville. She advised unknown suspect(s) entered their residence and took approximately $70 in assorted coins some of which were Bi Centennial Quarters.
The investigation continues.
