LOTHIAN, Md. — Miracle Temple Church in Lothian is hosting an exciting concert this Saturday, Dec. 6, entitled “Let’s Celebrate the King.”

The concert is open to all families, residents and community members, and the church hopes to bring people together for a “powerful evening of music, worship and unity.” It will feature local singers and worship leaders, who will come together to deliver a performance that lifts spirits and helps families grow closer during the holiday season.

The event will be held at the church, located at 5501 Sands Road in Lothian. The concert starts at 5 p.m. and is free to all.

According to Assistant Pastor Justin Wills of Miracle Temple Church, the free concert will feature dynamic musical performances, including “uplifting” Christmas selections, and an atmosphere filled with hope and joy.

“You do not want to miss this great performance,” Wills said. “Through singing, worship and community unity, this concert will remind us all of the true meaning of the season and the power of coming together.”

Wills and the church garnered attention during the government shutdown, when community members came together to provide food and services to those in need. Wills said that Miracle Temple Church continues its longstanding commitment to serving families and building community through faith, outreach and compassion, and will do so throughout the year and during the Christmas season.

“We welcome all to join us and celebrate this meaningful evening together,” Wills said.
