One of Southern Maryland’s largest import dealers right here in Lexington Park is overstocked and is forced to sell used cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs. Prices will be slashed all day long until finally some vehicles will be sold as low as $5.
Mike Mckay, General Sales Manager of Toyota of Southern Maryland and Team Hyundai, just announced plans to hold a Five Dollar used car and truck sales event: Taking place Saturday, December 17, 2011. According to Mr. Mckay record sales from the last few months have resulted in an overstock of trade-ins. “In the last three months our sales have increased at a tremendous rate”, Mckay said. “Now, we must reduce the number of cars and trucks on our lot to a more manageable number. During this Five Dollar Sale every used car and truck will be slashed hundreds and even thousands below its original price.” Mr. Mckay said. “In fact, cars that normally sell for eight thousand dollars will be sold for three to five thousand,” Mr. Mckay said. Our customers will find these prices even lower than at the wholesale auctions.”
Auction bidding often inflates the true value of a car so you pay more. Here every car is on sale, first come first served and no bidding, in fact prices go down. It’s the perfect opportunity to get a good quality new or preowned car at the lowest possible price, including cars for only five dollars. All cars will be on display at Toyota of Southern Maryland and Team Hyundai on Three Notch Rd (Highway 235) just south of the Solomons Island Bridge, across from Buffalo Wild Wings, Kohl’s, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
At 9:00 am all vehicles will be opened so that buyers can inspect vehicles for one hour before the sale begins at 10:00 am. You should plan to arrive as early as 8:30 am for registration for the sale. The prices will be posted on the windshield and you will be given the opportunity to purchase the vehicle at the sale price. From there vehicles will be slashed by as much as $500, every 30 minutes, until purchased.
This innovative approach to selling vehicles will make it easy and quick for anybody looking for a good preowned vehicle to get a great car or truck at the absolute lowest price with no hassle.
“Wholesale buyers will be represented to take trade-ins during the sale”, Mr. Mckay said.
“We also have three business managers who will help buyers arrange low-cost financing. We’ve got over Six Million Dollars in inventory to choose from. Our total inventory will be close to 300 new and used cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs.
We want to remind everyone that this is a one-day sale only, you need to come early before your vehicle is slashed and someone else gets the deal of a lifetime on the vehicle you have been waiting for. When our inventory has been reduced to a more manageable level, we will remove the sale prices and return to normal operations.
