After observing a vehicle crossing road lines and veering onto the shoulder of the road numerous times on Md. Rt. 231 and along Prince Frederick Blvd., Cpl. R. Wilson conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the parking lot of World Gym in Prince Frederick on September 17 at 1:30 a.m. The driver, later identified as James Norman Gunnell, III, 25 of Huntingtown, was arrested for driving under the influence and found to be in possession of suspected drugs. He was also charged with possession of oxycodone.
