On May 6, 2011 at 3:00 A.M. a call went out for a vehichle fire at the 29000 block of Charlotte Hall Road. Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department Co. 2 was dispatched with Brush 2 arriving first on scene followed by Engine 21. Upon arrival, their was a single vehicle with the front half well off. They made an aggressive attack to knock down the fire which was followed a thorough mop up of any remaining fire. No injuries were reported.
