Vodka Found in Purse of Grocery Store Shoplifter

On Oct. 30, Corporal J. Logalbo responded to the McKay’s Food Store in Lexington Park, for a report of a theft. 

Investigation revealed Sherry Cassandra Mackall, 35 of Lexington Park, removed a bottle of “Absolut Vodka” from the store shelf and concealed it in her purse.  Mackall then walked past all points of payment and left the store without paying for the vodka.  Mackall was stopped outside of the store by the Loss Prevention Officer, who detained her until deputies arrived. 

Mackall was arrested and charged with theft less then $100.00.
