At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, a male motorcyclist on a Victory Motorcycle was stopped, waiting to turn left onto Forest Park Road from the southbound lanes of Three Notch Road in Hermanville. A driver of a Volkswagen GLF failed to stop and ran into the back of the motorcyclist.
Units from Bay District, Lexington Park and Ridge responded to the scene. The single male victim was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital via ambulance. Although the airbags had deployed in the Volkswagen, the driver signed a refusal and was not transported.
