On Dec. 18, at 11:58 a.m., Tpr. W. Jefferson responded to 45485 Miramar Way in California for a responded theft in progress at the Wal-Mart store.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Loss Prevention Officer from the store. The Loss Prevention Officer observed John Anthony Frantz, 22 of Hollywood, place merchandise in his pockets and proceeded to the front of the store. He failed to pay for the merchandise and left the store. Frantz was detained outside the store until Tpr. Jefferson arrived and took Frantz in custody.
Frantz was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. He was charged with theft under $100.
