On Sunday July 28th, Beacon of Hope Recovery and Wellness Center will host its summer Piggy Bank Indoor Yard Sale. Every item will be on sale for just a penny from 2-6 p.m. at this one day only event. The Piggy Bank Yard Sale is open to the public.
“We had our first Piggy Bank Indoor Yard Sale last December, and it was a great success. We got some wonderful donations and made it possible for many individuals and families who were struggling be able to acquire some needed clothes, household items, appliances, and other yard sale treasures,” explains Laura Webb, Resource Engagement Coordinator. “So, we decided to make it a twice a year event. We invite anyone looking for a great bargain in a wonderful environment to come with their spare change and do some shopping.”
Walden is accepting tax-deductible donations of items in good/excellent condition for the Piggy Bank Yard Sale. All donations must be arranged in advance by contacting Walden at 301-997-1300 x 804.
Beacon of Hope is located in Millison Plaza, two doors down from the Well Pet Clinic and beside Underground Tattoo, behind Family Dollar. Look for the lighthouse beacon logo in our window and our sandwich board sign!
