On Dec. 8 at 7:11 p.m., officers were working an assignment in the area of King Street in Waldorf when they observed an apparent drug transaction. As officers investigated, it was learned the suspect, Thomas Arthur Clayton, 64, of Waldorf, sold several Oxycodone pills to another individual. Clayton was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of narcotics. Charges are pending against the person who made the purchase. Cpl. D.
