On December 12, 2011, Deputy Seyfried responded to Walmart, California, Maryland, for an internal theft report. Investigation revealed Cheryl Anne Panagakos, 49, of Lexington Park, Maryland, began stealing merchandise from Walmart beginning in September 2011. Another store employee became suspicious of Panagakos’ actions and started an internal investigation. Panagakos was arrested by Deputy Seyfried and charged with Theft and Theft Scheme.
