PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. The Prince George’s County Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a fatal shooting in 2020. An arrest warrant for 34-year-old Dayvon Gordon was obtained shortly after the murder of 22-year-old Andre Lamont Cox Jr., in Landover. Extensive efforts to locate Gordon have so far been unsuccessful. His last known address was in Washington, DC.

On October 27, 2020, officers responded to the 3200 block of 75th Avenue for a shooting. The victim was located outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died a short time later.

Through various investigative techniques, two suspects were identified, to include Dayvon Gordon. The second suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting.

Since the murder, detectives have followed multiple leads in an attempt to locate Gordon. It’s believed he is being assisted by an individual(s) in his efforts to evade arrest.
