
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. โ Feb. 19, 2019 โ Water service will be disrupted for a portion of Prince Frederick beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 as crews work to fix a water main break along Route 231. Service is expected to be restored by early morning Wednesday, Feb. 20.
The area affected stretches along Route 231 from Mason Road to the end of Stafford Road and includes the Yardley Hills neighborhood. Customers are encouraged to collect and store water for consumption and other domestic use such as flushing toilets during the outage.
The repair crew will begin setting up traffic control along the repair site at 9 p.m. this evening. Water service will be turned off at 11 p.m. with service planned for restoration by 5 a.m. Wednesday.
