Weather Alert: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect Until 9 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for all Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties until 9 p.m. 

Any storms that form will be capable of producing primarily large hail, damaging winds and very heavy rain. An isolated tornado will be possible.

A small craft advisory is in effect for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and Tidal Potomac through 8 p.m. this evening.
