On November 27, 2011, deputies responded to a residence in St. Inigoes, Maryland, for a report of an
assault. Investigation revealed Mary Elaine Murphy, 42, of St. Inigoes, Maryland, became involved in an
argument with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Murphy grabbed the victim by the
arm and struck the victim in the face. Deputy Kirkner arrested Murphy and charged her with second degree
assault.
