On February 25, St. Mary’s Dfc. D. Harris responded to a residence on Greenwell Hill Lane in Leonardtown, for a report of a domestic assault in progress.
Upon arrival Dfc. Harris made contact with the victim who was standing outside of the residence. The victim reported he and Tami Sue Lindstead, 39 of Leonardtown, were involved in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Lindstead grabbed a pair of scissors and thrust them towards him. The scissors made contact with the victim’s arm causing a scratch on his forearm. Lindstead then grabbed a beer bottle and struck the victim in the head and punched the victim in the eye. The victim was able to get away from the attack. Dfc. Harris made contact and interviewed Lindstead.
Lindstead was subsequently arrested and charged with first and second-degree assault.
