WALDORF, Md. – On April 21 at 7:09 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Adams Road in Waldorf for the report of a citizen robbery.
Investigation showed the victim arranged to meet an individual, via an online app, to purchase an electronic device. During the course of the sale, a second male approached her; he was armed with a gun and demanded her money and other valuables.
The CCSO is reminding people to make online exchanges in public places such as the parking lot of a police station. Det. Wimberly is investigating.
