Miriam Lorenson

Deputy J. Lacey responded to the Best Buy in California, for the report of theft. The witness advised the suspect, Miriam Rachel Lorenson, 34, of Hollywood, entered the store with a large purse, which she filled with several phone cases.

Lorenson then took the phone cases out of their boxes, concealed them in her purse and quickly exited the store. The phone cases were recovered and Deputy Johnson made contact with the suspect, who initially provided a false name.

Lorenson was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft Less Than $1000 and Did Knowingly and Willfully Assume Another Name.
