Dep. Scott Brown conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was exceeding the posted speed limit on Maryland Rt. 4 and Fox Run Blvd. in Prince Frederick on December 24 at 1:54 a.m. While conducting a search incident to arrest, the driver, later identified as Iris B. Marcum, 21 of San Diego, CA was found to have suspected marijuana and a schedule III drug (Hydrocodone) in her possession. Marcum put up a struggle but was ultimately arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule III drug and resisting arrest.
