On Monday, June 22, 2015 at 3:31 pm, Tpr. C. Ruth responded to the Walmart for a reported theft.
Investigation revealed that Brenda L. Grimes, 54, of Leonardtown, had stolen numerous items and bypassed all points of sale.
A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS.
Ms. Grimes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
She was charged with Theft Less than $1,000 and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance – Not Marijuana. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
