La Plata, MD – Mary Theresa Ann Hebb, 40 of Waldorf, reached the end of the line Monday, Sept. 28.

Hebb is facing 30 years with the possibility of parole after she accepted a plea deal for selling Oxycodone to an informant working with Narcotics Enforcement Oct. 9, 2014.

Charles County Assistant Jonathan Beattie told Charles County Circuit Court Judge Amy J. Bragunier that a narcotics detective working with a confidential informant was told he could obtain pain prescription medication from Hebb.

โ€œThe officer provided the informant with U.S. currency, and the informant went to a predetermined location, exchanged the currency and obtained oxycodone,โ€ Beattie said. โ€œThe informant returned the pills to the officer and he and the confidential informant parted company.โ€

The second set of charges came from Feb. 18, 2015 when narcotics officers executed a search warrant at Hebbโ€™s residence at Whistler Place in Waldorf.

โ€œOfficers had an arrest warrant for Mary Theresa Hebb,โ€ Beattie stated. โ€œOfficers confiscated Oxycodone pills and $4,800 in U.S. currency. While she was in custody, during an interview she told the officers that she sold pills.โ€

Bragunier said that under the terms of the agreement, Hebb will serve 10 years with the possibility of parole on the possession charge, but that there would be no suspended time or probation in that case.

For the distribution charge, Hebb will face 20 years at the Maryland Department of Corrections followed by five years of supervised probation.

โ€œShe will be eligible for parole,โ€ Bragunier said.

Sentencing will take place Nov. 16.
