LA PLATA, Md. – No injuries reported after work van strikes utility pole in La Plata.
On April 12, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the single motor vehicle accident on Kent Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived to the scene and found the van off the roadway that slid into a ditch and struck a small concrete barrier and utility pole. The occupants of the vehicle showed no signs of injuries. Fire and rescue personnel returned to service. Police reported driver error to be the cause of the crash.
Police directed traffic while the road was down to one lane for a short period of time.
