On Jan. 22, at 5:38 p.m., Tpr. J. Gibson responded to the 23000 block of Rosewood Court in California for the reported assault in progress.
Contact was made with the female victim, 30 of California, who advised she was assaulted by her 11-year-old daughter.
The daughter was taken into custody and transported to the Leonardtown Barrack for processing. She was later released to her mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
