Charles County officers responded to Crain Highway in Waldorf on November 7th at 7:00 p.m. (the parking lot of a fast food business) for an assault. When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old male with a stab wound to his upper body. He was flown to a hospital in critical condition. According to witnesses, a 17-year-old male (who was known to the victim) stabbed the victim during an argument that occurred outside of the restaurant. Officers developed information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts and located him on Nike Drive. The suspect was arrested and charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and assault with a deadly weapon. Detective J. Austin is investigating.
