PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle rollover crash at Barstow Road and Hallowing Point Road (Route 231) in Prince Frederick Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:36 p.m. Aug. 31. Initial dispatch information indicated a white vehicle and a small black vehicle were involved, with one vehicle coming to rest on its side.
Calvert County fire and EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene, including Squad 2, Ambulance 249, Ambulance 66 and Station 2 personnel.
Emergency personnel evaluated one person for a reported head injury. One patient was transported by ground to Capital Regional Hospital with Priority 2 status. The extent of any other injuries was not immediately known. Dispatch information indicated no vehicles were on fire and no occupants were reported to have been ejected.
Route 231 was shut down momentarily while crews worked at the scene. Drivers should use caution and expect possible delays in the area.
