Troopers from Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack responded to an area in St. Leonard in Calvert County on October 20th for a reported destruction of property to construction equipment. Due to the cost amount of the destruction ($23,500), Criminal Enforcement Division, Central South Region assumed the investigation.
Investigation revealed between the time periods of October 18, 2014 through October 20, 2014, a 17 year old male juvenile from St. Mary’s County damaged/destroyed equipment belonging to an Excavating Company from Rockville, MD.
On November 12, 2014, the juvenile involved was located and charged with the destruction of property. The juvenile was released to his legal guardian.
The investigation was investigated in collaboration with the Calvert County Department of Juvenile Services and the Calvert County States Attorney’s Office.
