
GLEN BURNIE, Md. — An 18-year-old Parkville man was arrested after Anne Arundel County Police officers found a loaded stolen handgun during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.
The stop happened around 10:10 p.m. on May 15, 2026, on Solley Road near Tanyard Springs Lane. Officers stopped a gray Ford F-150 and recovered a loaded 9mm Springfield Arms handgun from inside the vehicle compartment.
According to police, the handgun had been reported stolen. The driver, Christopher J. Malik McLeod, 18, of Parkville, was arrested and charged in connection with the firearm.
Charges include handgun in vehicle, loaded handgun in vehicle, handgun on person, loaded handgun on person, illegal possession of ammunition, reckless endangerment, stolen regulated firearm, and possession of a firearm by a minor.
McLeod was released on recognizance following a bond review on May 16, 2026. A trial is set for July 17, 2026, in Glen Burnie District Court.
