22 Grams of Pot, 2 Smoking Devices and Moore Trouble

At 10:45 pm On Saturday, January 20, Tpr Shughart stopped a 1996 Honda Accord traveling south bound on Rt. 235 in the north bound lanes in California.  As Tpr. Shughart was exiting her vehicle, the driver of the Honda put her vehicle in reverse and backed into Tpr. Shughart’s vehicle.

Tpr. Shughart made contact with the driver, Cheryl Ann Moore, 48, of California, and detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath.  Ms. Moore was arrested for DWI.

A search incident to arrest revealed Ms. Moore was in possession of  approximately 22 grams of marijuana and 2 CDS smoking devices.  Ms. Moore was transported to MSP Leonardtown for processing for the DWI. She was then transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
