On Friday, Jan. 16 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad were alerted to an accident at State Route 4 North and Chaneyville Road in Owings.
Ambulances from Dunkirk and Huntingtown also responded. Three patients were transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were two patients listed as priority 2 transports and one patient as priority 3 transport.
One patient complained of chest pains and another of neck and back pain.
