Vera’s White Sands in Lusby hosted its second local Hawaiian Tropic contest Saturday in conjunction with the restaurant and bar’s grand opening.
Meagan, Amber and Amber Lynn took the first, second and third place titles, winning the opportunity to participate in the national Hawaiian Tropic contest later in the year. Contestants at the national level vie for modeling contracts and the chance to tour the country promoting Hawaiian Tropic tanning and skin care products.
Vera’s will host two more contests, one Sunday, July 20, the other Sunday, Aug. 24. Both contests are scheduled for 2 p.m.
