LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Volunteers are invited to join the 4th Annual Great Mills Road Community Clean-Up on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Church of the Ascension.
The St. Mary’s County Community Development Corporation is organizing the effort, which focuses on improving one of the county’s busiest corridors. Participants will be provided tools, water, and supplies, and a celebratory lunch will follow the cleanup.
Organizers describe the event as family-friendly and encourage residents not on Great Mills Road to consider hosting their own neighborhood or business cleanups on the same day.
Registration is requested by Sept. 4 at tinyurl.com/stmaryscdccleanup25.
