POMFRET, MD – A feral cat was found to be positive for rabies in the area of Marshall Corner Road, near McDonough High School and Rose Hill Road.
The cat was male, older than 12 months old, black and white, and less than 20 pounds.
Any residents who have had contact with this feline are urged to call the Charles County Department of Health Communicable Disease Health Program at 301-609-6900 for a risk assessment.
