On Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at approximately 6:25 pm, there was a report of a house fire on Palisades Drive.
Units from Dunkirk, Huntingtown and North Beach responded to the call. As Dunkirk units arrived on scene they saw smoke coming from the home. They quickly started extinguishing the fire as addition apparatus were arriving on the scene.
The cause of fire seems to be from electrical short caused by an attic fan, but investigation is still ongoing.
